Boat for Pink

Come down to Boro Boats Boating center and helps us celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month In honor of this , we are hosting a great event to contribute to the cause. Come join us Saturday, October 28, 2016 for our very first annual Boat For Pink event. The event will go all day, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. We are hosting this event because breast cancer has been becoming more and more of an issue for women and we would like to raise awareness and help those in need. Come down to our location where there will be music, food and beverages, demonstrations, and contests and giveaways for the you and the family to enjoy.  

To start the day we will open up a demonstration on tips and techniques used for waxing boats. We will be hosting silent auction and we have partnered with local businesses to offer you some amazing items to bid on. The items range from boating accessories and apparel, camping and recreational equipment, and several gift cards for local businesses. There will be a live auction that will be starting for bids at 12:00 am to 2:00 pm for some bigger items donated by Boro Boats. So be sure to get to the event in time to check over everything and place all of your bids! 

This a great event for friends and family to come and enjoy some food, and raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Boro Boats wants the Boat for Pink fundraiser to make a splash on cancer so other people and companies are more aware. Coast Guard Fundrasier

Boro Boats is partnering with the Ortiz MMA, where they will be hosting an event in order to raise funds and awareness for the coast guard. The fundraiser will be held at the Ortiz MMA center and they will be hosting a tournament of their best fighters and all the earnings will be given to the coast guard who are in need of repairs of their base due to hurricane Matthew ravaging through the east coast. In addition, here at Boro Boats we will be selling some boating accessories (ranging from apparel to boat decor/supplies) at their location and all the proceedings will also be given to the coast guard.

For the tournament, entry fee is $100 dollars and will be held at the local high school. There will be around 14 fights, including our BJJ champ going against members of the audience that want to try it out. If you manage to submit him, you'll receive a free month of unlimited classes. The boat we will be raffleing was donated by Boro Boats Boating Center, and it is a brand new 2016 Ranger Comanche Z520C series. A very popular fishing boat and all the proceedings will all be going to the fundrasier. We hope you help us in our cause to rebuild the coast guard base
